1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all products and services provided by Zest for Print Ltd, including but not limited to signage installations, window vinyl, and vehicle graphics.
1.2 By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1.3 Zest for Print Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms at any time.
2. Quotations and Pricing
2.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless specified otherwise.
2.2 Quotations are based on the details provided by the customer. Any changes to specifications may result in additional charges.
2.3 Prices are exclusive of VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise.
2.4 Additional charges may apply in cases of unforeseen circumstances, such as structural issues, delays due to customer inaccessibility, or additional cleaning required before installation.
3. Orders and Deposits
3.1 Orders are confirmed upon receipt of a signed quotation or written agreement.
3.2 A deposit of 50% of the total project cost is required unless alternative arrangements are agreed upon in writing.
3.3 The balance is payable upon completion of the project unless otherwise stated in the agreement.
4. Production and Installation
4.1 Final designs must be reviewed and approved in writing by the customer. Zest for Print Ltd is not liable for any errors in designs once approval is given.
4.2 Production lead times will be communicated at the time of order confirmation and are subject to change depending on the project scope and complexity.
4.3 External Vinyl Installation
4.3.1 Weather and Surface Conditions: Due to outdoor weather conditions, external vinyl applications may sometimes result in minimal imperfections, such as small specks of dirt or dust trapped beneath the vinyl. These imperfections are often unavoidable and do not compromise the integrity or functionality of the vinyl.
4.3.2 Vinyl Edges and Borders: Slightly raised edges on vinyl, particularly along the borders, may occur and are considered within acceptable installation standards. A small, uniform border around the sides is often included to ensure durability and secure adhesion.
4.3.3 Large Vinyl Panels: Large vinyl installations are typically produced in multiple sections or panels. Seam lines between these sections are standard and carefully aligned to ensure a professional appearance. In cases where unavoidable damage occurs during installation due to external factors beyond our control (e.g., weather conditions, unforeseen site issues, or surface irregularities), Zest for Print Ltd reserves the right to overlay a patch piece to repair the affected area. This approach ensures deadlines are met and the project remains within the quoted estimate, minimizing delays and additional costs for the customer. This process is consistent with industry standards for multi-panel vinyl installations and ensures the integrity and appearance of the final result.
4.3.4 Repairs and Patches: If damage to a vinyl section occurs after installation, Zest for Print Ltd reserves the right to overlay a patch piece to repair the area. This process is consistent with the approach used for multi-panel vinyl installations and ensures the overall appearance is maintained.
4.4 Customer Responsibilities for Installations
4.4.1 Site Preparation: The customer must ensure that the installation area is accessible, clean, and free of obstructions before the scheduled installation.
4.4.2 Delays: Any delays caused by the customer, including lack of access or unprepared surfaces, may result in additional charges.
5. Vehicle Graphics
5.1 The vehicle must be thoroughly cleaned, free of dirt, grease, and wax before vinyl application. Failure to comply may result in additional cleaning charges or suboptimal results.
5.2 Zest for Print Ltd is not responsible for defects caused by pre-existing conditions, such as rust, chipped paint, or dents.
6. Window Vinyl
6.1 Window surfaces must be clean and prepared before installation. Any additional cleaning required by Zest for Print Ltd may incur an additional charge.
6.2 While every effort will be made to ensure a flawless installation, external factors, such as weather or pre-existing glass imperfections, may result in minor visual irregularities.
7. Signage
7.1 It is the customer's responsibility to obtain any necessary permissions (e.g., planning permissions or landlord consent) for signage installations.
7.2 Zest for Print Ltd is not liable for damage caused to signage due to external factors such as extreme weather, vandalism, or improper maintenance by the customer post-installation.
